Frequently Asked Questions
Session fees may be reimbursable in whole or in part by Extended Health Care Plans, such as Blue Cross, that offer coverage for “psychology”, “psychotherapy” or “counselling.” Many employers also have assistance programs or health spending accounts for employees and their families that may be used for psychological services. Ask your employer or union about health coverage options. Psychological services are a tax-deductible medical expense.
Doctors referrals are not required to book an appointment.

Maria can integrate Christian perspectives to counselling. However, this is optional. We also have experience working with clients from a wide variety of other faith, belief and spiritual backgrounds.
