110 minute counselling* session: $470 - $550

* Professional fees are for individual, couple and family counselling appointments.  Session Fees use the Psychologists Association of Alberta recommended guideline. 

GST is not charged for mental health services.

INSURANCE COVERAGE, HEALTH PLANS AND TAX CREDIT INFORMATION

Please check your personal or company policy to ensure that both Registered Psychologists and Registered MSW Social Workers are covered by your Benefits Plan for reimbursement. 

INSURANCE:  Session fees may be reimbursable in whole or in part by Extended Health Care Plans, such as Blue Cross, that offer coverage for "psychology", "psychologist services", "psychotherapy" or "counselling".  Contact your insurance agent for more information on coverage options and reimbursement procedures.

DIRECT BILLING:  Direct billing available for Alberta Blue Cross, Greenshields, Canada Life and Telus insurance.  You will be charged the full amount of your session upfront and we will do the paperwork to have your benefit plan reimburse you directly.

HEALTH PLANS:  Check if your employer or union offers employee assistance programs or health spending accounts that may cover your counselling sessions.

FEDERAL TAX CREDIT:  Services provided by a psychologist may be eligible for a medical expense tax credit.  Click here for more information on the federal Medical Expense Tax Credit.  Consult your accountant for more details.

SESSION FEE PAYMENT:  Payment may be made by cash, cheque, email money transfer, interact or major credit card.

CANCELLATIONS:  Fees may be charged for appointment cancellations or changes without 48 hours prior notice.
